After resting for a couple of hours, Leo suddenly woke up due to the sound in the building.
Unhurriedly opening his eyes, Leo immediately saw the group eating in the distance while beside him was Roy who was playing with his little dragon and white cat.
"Brother you're finally awake?" Roy suddenly raised his innocent brown eyes before continuing to play with the white snake on his palm, tickling it with his pointed finger.
Hiss... Hisssss. (The snake twisted its body as it released a hissing sound.)
"Hehehehe, aren't you naughty earlier?"
Smiling lightly upon seeing the smile on the child's face, Leo took a deep breath as he took a water bottle from his inventory.
As he was unhurriedly drinking and eating the bread that Roy gave him, Leo saw Kristine in the distance curiously glancing at him a couple of times before hesitantly approaching.
"Hehe, Leo I heard from Jake that you were quite careless earlier."
"Hmm... What?" Leo stared at Kristine in surprise before glancing at Jake's guilty expression in the distance.
His mouth... I didn't notice that he was gossipy... Sigh.
Sighing deeply Leo nodded awkwardly toward Kristine as he took a bite from the bread in his hand.
"Yes, fortunately, I have "Guardian Shield" casted on me that time."
"You have... Guardian Shield?" Kristine paused for a while as the corner of her lips suddenly twitched, on her forehead, a little vein could be seen throbbing.
"I see, I should not have believed that liar." She said as she took a long deep breath, forcefully calming her nerves.
"Liar?" Leo asked confusedly.
"Hmpp, yes, Jake said that you fought a Mid-Foundation feline on your own without any help... He even spread that you only barely killed the beasts while your body was covered with severe injuries."
That... That was clearly a b*llsh*t!
Leo couldn't help but curse inside his head as his eye twitched, fighting the impulse to show an ugly expression.
Gazing toward Jake, Leo saw the latter's back facing him, clearly acting like nothing happened. He even heard a weak whistle from Jake's location.

Leo silently thought as he continued conversing with Kristine.

After minutes of conversation with Kristine, seeing that Kristine finally was walking away, approaching toward Jake's direction.
Leo finally let out a sigh of relief as he excitedly took out the blue scroll that he got on the corpse of the feline earlier.
