Chapter 21: The Global Channel, Serpent Emperor Yggdrasil
Chapter 21: The Global Channel, Serpent Emperor Yggdrasil
After about two hours, Catherine had completely dealt with the Zerg situation, while Medusa still needed some more time.
On the way, this slut deliberately used Zerg technology to create a particularly thin lingerie, which looked from a distance like a playful lingerie that could be easily picked out with just a slight pinch without wearing clothes.
Her face bore a look of determined confidce. Previously, countless survival trials had forced her and her master to barely have time for each other.
But now things were differt. With no pressing matters, what else was there to do but joy some intimate momts?
Medusa, that beautiful serpt-woman, was either training soldiers or dealing with military issues, which meant today she had her master all to herself!
Knock, knock, knock!
She gtly knocked on the door, and wh she heard permission to ter, she smiled and walked in seductively.
Catherine glanced inside to see Charles busy at the strategy table, seemingly working on some plans.
To be honest, her master was indeed a reltless workaholic~
"Catherine, come and take a look at the Zerg fortifications I've set up here." Charles said, noticing her return. He pulled her close, pointing at the small flags on the table, and asked in a gtle tone.
Catherine was momtarily tak aback by his words, but she set aside her desires for the momt and looked over.
On the simplified map, Charles had drawn symbols at multiple checkpoints.
Based on what he had mtioned earlier, these... were all required for Zerg fortifications?
She observed closely and pointed to several spots: "Master, aside from these places, all you need to do is sd some worms to dig nests. As for the other locations you've marked, I think they require Overseers for long-range observation."
"And Overseers, ev with the resources we've rectly gathered, we can only produce a few. This already counts as Zerg tactical fortifications."
Charles was quite pleased with her analysis.
Nodding and smiling, he said, "Yes, Catherine, we've already cleared out all the monsters within a t-kilometer radius. To secure the area and extract resources, we need to use some Zerg for protection."
War is all about resources. If the Zerg only relied on him to source supplies from the trading cter, their growth would be severely limited.
He continued, "Soon, I'll upgrade the Heart of the Overlord to the gold tier. This will greatly hance both the strgth and number of Zerg we can accommodate... everything requires money."
Hearing this, Catherine's previously lustful mind cooled down. Right, she thought.
Although they were no longer in immediate danger, overall, they were still insignificant on the Contint of Overlord.
Is a Silver-tier Overlord really that strong?
The empire of serpt people led by Medusa's sister, Serpt Emperor, was a solid Heroic-tier Overlord force, boasting strgth up to Tier !
As for the slower ones, there was no upper limit.
So, wisely, he chose the global channel, which was still ripe with untapped business opportunities.
By starting with the global channel, he could access not just the Overlords from the Blue Star but also the native Overlords of the Contint of Overlord.
For instance, the Serpt Emperor of the Serpt Empire could now appear on the trading channel.
Esstially, defding against dark creatures was the responsibility of the tire Contint of Overlord. As reincarnators, humans had the unique early-game advantage of recruiting minions masse and utilizing the Eye of Data.
However, in the late game, all minions would need to be fought for on the Contint of Overlord or acquired through costly and oft unprofitable resource expditures. Charles had expericed all of this in his previous life.
[Esteemed Overlord, you have successfully tered the global channel. Please specify your name! (Note: Names can be duplicated, but Overlord, be wary of the pottial consequces of name duplication!)]
Charles understood these consequces all too well. In his previous life, a fool on their server had arrogantly chos the name "Elv King."
As a result, during a casual trade, he inadverttly revealed his coordinates and was subsequtly annihilated by a faction of elves. That poor fellow ultimately ded up as a male slave in the underg market.
[Insect Collector]
Charles slowly typed out the characters, opting for a more humble moniker rather than something grandiose like "the Zerg Overlord" or "Insect Emperor."
The reason? Simply put, there were indeed those formidable players who would trace your IP and come after you just based on your audacious name!
[Congratulations, Insect Collector Overlord, on officially tering the global channel. You may now start participating actively!]
The parchmt gradually changed from two pages to three, with the third page dedicated to the global channel's information exchange and trading cter.
Charles did not rush to sell his items right away. Instead, he chose to be a silt observer in front of the scre, hoping to gather some intelligce about this vast domain and its specific location.
He fervtly hoped it wasn't...
[Serpt Emperor Yggdrasil has consumed 0 Skull Coins to broadcast globally, allowing audio messages!]
Fuck.
Serpt Emperor...
Charles was speechless. He had just logged in, and already he countered one of the last people he wanted to see.
He had slaved the Serpt Emperor's sister. Ev though deep animosity existed betwe them, as royalty, the Serpt Emperor would undoubtedly seek revge if she found out.
Sure ough, the Serpt Emperor's usually seductive voice was now filled with icy mace.
"Boy, I knew you'd show up here sooner or later, so I've be issuing warnings every day!"
"Medusa is my sister. If you dare defile her, the tire Serpt Empire will hunt you down!"
