At that moment, Garm finally slashed down with his bone, producing a terrifying arc of Sword Aura fired toward Lily, with the aim of killing both her and Lucian, who she was protecting.
Lily watched the arc of sword light flying toward her with widened eyes. She wanted to dodge, but could not. However, even if she could dodge it, she would choose not to — her Big Brother Lucian was behind her.
Lily sorrowfully closed her eyes as the beam of light rushed at her. The sound of fearful shouts resounded mixed with the sound of tearing wind from the sword arc.
When she sensed the sword arc reach a few inches away from her body, her body further tensed. But, surprisingly, for some odd reason. she felt the terrifying aura disappear.
Following this, a teasing laughter filled the surroundings.
"HAHAHA! The looks on your faces. It's priceless!"
After a moment of hesitation, Lily opened one of her eyes in confusion. Immediately, her other eye sprung open as the scene before her left her speechless and shocked. The terrifying arc of Sword Aura was nowhere to be seen. It was as though Garm had never swung his bone at them.
Meanwhile, Yax's excited expression changed as he said in a shocked tone, "You... What is the meaning of this?"
Yax did not mean it but his words came out with a hint of accusation.
While the others were pleasantly shocked by the turn of events, Garm put his bone into his Spatial Ring. Then, slowly, he asked Yax while pointing at Lucian's sleeping figure, "You said he was a Magical Beast?"
For some reason, after hearing Garm's words, Yax felt an ominous feeling envelop him. Nevertheless, he nodded his head and replied in a hurried tone, "That's correct, he's a powerful Magical Beast in Humanoid Form. Before he wakes up, quickly kill him."

Slightly over twenty minutes ago; before Yax, Garm, and Albert had arrived at Lucian's restaurant.
"P-Please, spare me! I-I didn't mean to offend anyone! I'm here because I need Sir Taotie's help!" Yax's voice was filled with dread as he repeatedly kowtowed.
Each time his head banged against the hard ground, splotches of blood were left behind.
"He crippled me just because I'm a rogue Mage! He said all rogue Mages deserve to be purged!"
"Does he have a grudge against rogue Mages?"
Yax hurriedly nodded his face, causing his snot to fly everywhere.
Albert frowned in disgust and waved his hands, creating several portals that transported his snot.
In the meantime, Yax tried to come up with a believable lie but failed.
With no better option, he changed the subject, "Even worse, he called Sir Taotie fat and ugly. He said he's surprised you can even walk with your elephant-sized legs."
Hearing the young man's words, Garm and Albert's expression became exceedingly ugly.
"How dare he say those words," Garm said through gritted teeth.
At this point, Yax was inwardly jumping for joy and thanking himself for remembering Garm hated when others ridiculed his appearance.

"But that's not all." After getting their attention back on him, Yax continued with a fearful expression, "The owner is a powerful Magical Beast in Humanoid Form! He's at least a Mana Soul Realm Mage!"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" Garm bellowed with rage, startling the nearby rogue Mages with his anger-filled voice.
"Which ba- *Cough* *Cough*" As soon as the rogue Mage saw the owner of the voice, he hurriedly kowtowed and returned to his tent, while inwardly thanking his ancestors The Voracious Devourer was occupied.
The other rogue Mages, who were thinking of spectating, decided against it and swiftly returned to their tents. Although they did not dare use their Mana Sense to listen to their conversation, they kept their ears perked.
