Primordial Draconic Incubus With A Gourmet Chef System

Chapter 98 Dough Balls

Chapter 98 Dough Balls

Lucian sighed after reading the System Notifications. The title Debtor's Fool was no different than a slap to his face.

'At least, it's only a one percent increase to my total interest...' Lucian consoled himself and took out the Artifact from his Inventory. The Artifact was in the shape of a miniature version of the restaurant that easily fit on his palm.

Lucian then channeled his Mana into the Artifact, under Lily's curious eyes.

'A toy?' Lily adorably blinked her eyes. 'No, that's an Artifact.'

She had never seen an Artifact in the shape of a restaurant and did not know such Artifacts even existed.

'If Big Brother Lucian had an Artifact, why didn't he use it before?' She wondered but did not have much time to think as she watched the miniature restaurant expand.

Somehow, the physical object phased through her body and covered the area.

'Wow, the restaurant looks just like Big Brother Lucian's restaurant in Thunderfall City, but smaller.'

As she curiously gazed at the restaurant, she soon realized other than the size of the restaurant, the kitchen, and the entrance did not have a ceiling-high window.

In place of a window, there was only a wall with paintings, while next to the kitchen door was a small square opening with a wooden ledge below it.

As for the guards outside and James, they were surprised by the sudden appearance of the Artifact but only for a mere moment. They knew Artifacts came in all shapes and sizes. In fact, James' tent was an Artifact.

Therefore, after a brief glance at the restaurant, the guards resumed their patrol, while James returned to eating.

[You have stepped into Chef Lucian's restaurant.]

[Would you like to activate the Skill, Mosaic?]

[Description: This Skill can be activated by any person within the restaurant. It creates a powerful blur around the user, rendering the user undetectable by any detection Skills from anyone below First Layer Mana Emperor Realm.]

[Yes or No?]

[Thank you, Big Brother Lucian. You're the best~!] Lily exclaimed, hugging him tightly while hiding her affectionate smile in his chest.

Two soft and round things were suddenly pressed against his chest. 'Ahh~! What nice squishy dough balls. They aren't too big or too small. Just the perfect size. The baker has truly outdone himself!' Lucian exclaimed joyously, only for the sensation of the two dough balls pressed against his chest to disappear the next second.

Sighing inwardly, Lucian watched Lily sit down at the table where her breakfast was at.

Unbeknownst to him, Lily's little heart was beating even faster than when she first saw Maximillian's true form. As for her face, it was crimson and looked as though steam would come out at any moment.

'Lily, you big dummy. How could you be so bold?'

'... But Big Brother Lucian's embrace did feel nice and warm. Hehehe~!' Lily bashfully thought and began to gobble down the Sous Vide Filet Mignon and Siren's Melody Poached Egg.

After feeling a small pang of disappointment, Lucian joined Lily in eating breakfast.

A chef always had to be in top form.

Meanwhile, outside the restaurant, the members of Lions Liver and Fenwick were stunned as they gazed at the beautiful building.

"Who put this building on top of Chef Lucian's restaurant?" Hervy, dressed in a white robe, gritted his teeth in annoyance.

Ever since he tasted Lucian's dish, he could not extricate himself from wanting more. The addiction he had to Lucian's food was on a whole other level compared to his old addiction. Before he toiled his time at the Pleasure Pavilion, now he could only think about the sun rising again so he could taste Lucian's dish again.

If he was allowed to order multiple servings of Siren's Melody Poached Egg, then maybe, he could finally extricate himself from his food.

However, he knew Lucian would not allow it. He was a stickler for his rules.

'If only Chef Lucian can add more dishes that are fit for my Mage Rank then I can sleep with a full stomach.'

As a Bone Tempering Realm Mage, his appetite was double what it used to be. A single portion of Siren's Melody Poached Egg was not enough for him.

"Are you an idiot?" Lane coldly snorted. "Actually, forget I said that. I've seen idiots before, you're nothing like them. You've ascended all idiots."

As soon as his voice faded, the others began laughing, while the nearby guards bit their lips to prevent themselves from laughing.
