Sometime later, as Fenwick continued to gaze out the window, his eyes widened in shock as a thought came to his mind.
'...Did the Young Miss find a boy she likes!?'
However, as soon as Fenwick had that thought, he shook his head. It did not make sense. Lily was too innocent to think about a boy in that way.
Even if he believed Lily had not fallen in love with some boy, the mere thought plagued his mind.
'But what if some bastard is tricking her!?' He mused angrily and decided to follow her from a distance.
How could he allow someone to trick Lily?
As for the house and Clara, he did not need to worry. Lily and Garrett were not the only ones who installed Runic Symbols for Clara's safety. He had done so as well. As long as he did not leave a thousand-mile radius of Clara, he could monitor her and instantly teleport to her location.
With his decision made, Fenwick exited the house, locking it behind him before he trailed Lily from a distance. His steps were light and soundless. Even Lily, who was a Mana Vein Tempering Mage, did not know she was being trailed.

Meanwhile, Lily silently jumped from building to building, unaware that she was being followed by her overprotective father figure, who thought she had been tricked by a boy.
If Lily knew, it was unknown how she would react.
For now, her mind was filled with the delicious taste of the Siren's Melody Poached Egg.
'I hope Big Brother Lucian is back.' She thought hopefully, even though she knew the chances of him being back were slim. After all, Garrett and Lucian had gone together, so it only made sense for them to return together.

Meanwhile, Lucian was calmly lying with both arms behind his head on a lounge chair on the balcony of his room.
He had been doing this for almost an hour after he finished eating his breakfast.
Lucian felt lonely and bored, but that was the life of a Mage, who wished to become the strongest.

Once Lucian entered the room, Lily excitedly hopped off the two-story building and quietly landed at the entrance. She then patiently waited.

A hundred feet away, on top of another building, Fenwick was shocked silly when he saw Lily's behavior. He could not believe his eyes and ears. He could not believe that his overprotective guess had been correct. Lily really had been tricked by some bastard.
'I can't allow this! NO! I won't allow Lily's life to be ruined by some bastard from a third-tier city.'
Fenwick's eyes narrowed in anger. He would find out who this 'Big Brother Lucian' was.

Meanwhile, after deactivating the alarm system and turning on the lights, Lucian opened the entrance to his restaurant.
After seeing Lily, Lucian greeted her:
"Welcome to Transcendence." Then he moved aside, letting her enter.
"Big Brother Lucian, you have no idea how much Lily missed your food," Lily said to him in a whiny tone.
Just then, as though Lily's stomach wanted to emphasize her hunger, it rumbled.

Immediately after, Lily's face was dyed a deep shade of crimson.
'Stupid, smelly stomach,' she thought in embarrassment.
