Chapter 294 Who Cares About the Reasons?

Eva and Zoe both let out a sigh of exasperation hearing the blonde's answer, realizing that she was too far gone with her love for Lucifer that she was willing to put up with his antics. 'He really has Layla wrapped around his little finger.' Both girls thought while glancing at Madison, 'And Madison seems to be on her way into joining his harem...'

"So are you two done with the interrogation now? Or is there more you want to ask me about?" Lucifer spoke up with a playful smile. "Because if that's the case, I'd rather we stop wasting time and enjoy the jacuzzi together, right?"

"Yeah, yeah, I get it; you don't want to continue discussing this matter any further because you want to play around with Madison, isn't that right, Lucifer?" Zoe asked him with a sarcastic tone, raising her eyebrow. "Why else would you be in a hurry like this if not to get back to groping and grinding against her like you did before?"

Lucifer couldn't help but let out a small chuckle at that. "Oh, come on, Zoe. Don't be so quick to judge. It wasn't like I was planning to ravish Madison right away. We were just getting a bit closer and more intimate with each other. Nothing more, nothing less." He paused for a moment before adding. "Besides, I have something else to talk about with you. Something important."

"Important? What do you want to talk about?" Zoe asked him, raising an eyebrow. 'It must be about what happened earlier. When he attacked Ethan for insulting his mother...'

She didn't want to believe it at first, but then again, she recalled how she had never noticed anything intimate happening between them, nor did Eva ever mention such things. 'Wait... could Lucifer be right about this? But if so, why has James kept avoiding it and never taken her virginity until now?' Zoe thought in disbelief as she looked over at Eva, who was now chatting with Madison and Layla about something.

Zoe didn't realize that she had lost focus on her surroundings and ended up letting her guard down, allowing Lucifer to move his hand further along her waist and toward her hip. But before she could react, he continued whispering into her ear, "And I bet as her friend, you don't want to leave her like that, do you? Well, I can tell you a way on how to help her deal with her situation. Would you like to hear it?"

Hearing the question, she snapped out of her thoughts and glanced at him, blinking a few times to regain her composure. "What way?"

A devilish smile formed on his face when she asked that. "It is simple. I and Layla will be out of our room tonight, so that will give Eva and James the chance to be alone without any disturbances. All you need to do is to make sure that other guys, namely Nathan, Jack, and Ethan, won't try to disturb them and give the lovebirds some privacy."

"Is it that simple? Do you really think they will do something if we just leave them alone for the night?" Zoe questioned, doubtful of Lucifer's suggestion. "If James was ready to go all the way with Eva, then why would he hold himself back until now? Maybe there's a different reason behind this than what we think it is."

"Maybe you're right. Maybe he was waiting for a special occasion, or maybe there was some kind of problem. But who cares about the reasons?" Lucifer countered and moved his other hand to her thigh, pulling it over his lap while making sure that her attention stayed on their conversation and not on the fact that her leg was on his lap now. "What's important here is that Eva has been waiting long enough for him, and letting this go on any longer will just hurt her feelings even more. Don't you want your friend to be happy and enjoy the most amazing experience of her life? I bet you do, Zoe, so don't you think it would be nice to help them out?"
