Sitting in the back rows, Yao Ran, Long Yu, and Shi Xuan suddenly glanced out the windows at the same time.
When Long Yu's eyes caught sight of black shadows approaching from the distance, his eyes flickered as he said, "Get off the bus now."
After saying that, he grabbed Yao Ran by the waist as Shi Xuan kicked open the back door of the bus.

The moment the door burst open, Shi Xuan leaped out, followed closely by Long Yu and Yao Ran.
Seeing the three of them suddenly jump off, Mu Xichen stood up from his seat and shouted, "Follow them! Hurry up!"
Half of the people on the bus were Mu Xichen's subordinates. Upon hearing his command, they quickly grabbed their backpacks and weapons. Within seconds, some climbed out through the windows, while others hurriedly opened the doors and jumped out.
The remaining passengers panicked when they saw this, urging the driver to stop the bus. "Stop the bus! Hurry!"
The driver, equally flustered by the sudden events, hesitated for a moment. Before he could make a decision, something heavy landed on the roof.
Bam! Creak!
Startled by the loud impact sound, the driver instinctively turned the steering wheel sharply to the side.
Gripping the wheel tightly, he warned the remaining passengers, "Hold on!"
"Ah!"
The bus tilted to the side dangerously, nearly overturning, as passengers screamed in terror. Just before the bus collided with a nearby building, thick vines suddenly shot out from behind, wrapping around the bus and steadying it.
Bam!
The vines tightened, and the bus landed heavily back on the ground.
Without wasting a second, the driver yelled, "Get out now!"
As the driver and passengers scrambled out of the bus, Yao Ran controlled the green vines, directing them toward the mutant giant bird perched atop the bus.
Swish! Swish! Swish!
The vines moved swiftly, coiling around the mutant giant bird's body. Once she successfully restrained it, Yao Ran shouted, "Now!"
Thud! Thud! Thud!
A few seconds later, the mutilated bodies of three mutant birds fell heavily to the ground. Noticing the incoming danger, Mu Xichen immediately issued orders. "Shengyang, take care of the injured."
Hua Shengyang nodded and said, "Leave them to me."
Mu Xichen then turned to ten ability users and ordered, "Protect Shengyang."
"Yes, Boss," they replied, quickly forming a protective formation around Hua Shengyang.
Mu Xichen then looked at the others and said, "The rest of you, follow me!"
"Yes, Boss."
Pulling out his gun, Mu Xichen then rushed toward the battlefield and joined Yao Ran and the
others.
Meanwhile, Hua Shengyang, carrying his medical kit, instructed his bodyguards, "Help me gather the injured and take them to the nearby building."
"Yes, Young Master."
With their assistance, Hua Shengyang began administering first aid to injured soldiers, survivors, and ability users. While the bodyguards transported the wounded to a nearby building, Yao Ran noticed a change in the wind's speed and intensity.
Turning to Long Yu, she said, "A Yu, use the wind to finish them all at once."
After saying that, she took out a bottle of lake water from her space and tossed it to him. Long
Yu caught it, took a big mouthful to regain his strength, and threw the bottle with half of the lake water remaining to Shi Xuan.
Fully replenished his energy, Long Yu looked at Yao Ran and Shi Xuan and warned, "Take
cover."
"Be careful." Yao Ran reminded him, then followed Shi Xuan to the nearest building.
Noticing their movements, Mu Xichen sensed a massive surge of energy in the air and ordered, "Everyone, retreat to the nearest building immediately!"
Following his command, everyone sprinted to the nearest buildings. On his way, Mu Xichen grabbed Hua Shengyang by the arm, pulling him away from the battlefield.
Just when they ran into a building, the wind suddenly picked up, and the ground shook
violently. Boom!
