"Don't get complacent. Gilded City may be under the jurisdiction of the Sun Moon Alliance, but I'm sure there must be Nine Origins Temple and Golden Origin Immortal Palace spies here, so we still have to proceed with caution," Han Li warned.
"It's fine, we have nothing to worry about with Big Sister Weeping Soul on our side. She can detect animosity from a mile away, so no one will be able to sneak up on us," Xiaobai said with a wide smile, and Han Li also turned to Weeping Soul with a faint smile.

All of the other major trading houses in the greater Golden Immortal Stage would take this opportunity to hold auctions of their own, hoping to profit from the event.
The Sun Moon Alliance was almost on par with the Hundred Creations Mountain in terms of power, and it was also operating an enormous trading house, so it was naturally not going to remain a passive bystander.
With the steady growth of the Sun Moon Alliance, competition between the two superpowers during the Myriad Treasure Festivals had become more and more fierce over time.

"Given your cultivation bases, both of you are entitled to VIP seating. Please come with me," Lan Mei said as she led the way ahead.
"Do you have a list of the treasures that are going to appear during the auction?" Han Li asked.
"Yes, I have them here," Lan Mei said as she offered a pair of blue jade slips to Han Li and Weeping Soul.
Han Li was rather surprised to see this.
"This is generally strictly confidential information, is it not? Keeping the auction items a secret can pique the interest of the auction-goers and generate more buzz, so I'm surprised the Sun Moon Pavilion is readily handing out this information."
He had only raised the question just in case, and he wasn't expecting an affirmative response.
"The leader of our Sun Moon Alliance says that integrity and sincerity are the keys to business, and that there's no need to engage in such tacky maneuvers.
