Alerted by their cries for help, the lightning snakes began struggling against their restraints once again, and in the blink of an eye, all of the rays of silver light around them were snapped, following which they pounced at the pair of trapped cultivators, both of whom could only look on with expressions of despair.

He was also a cultivator of the laws of lightning, and he hailed from a powerful sect, so he was very knowledgeable when it came to lightning-attribute abilities, but he had no idea what this lightning space was.
An astonished look also appeared on the red-robed woman's face upon hearing this.
"Are you planning to travel to the greater Golden Origin Immortal Region, Senior? I'm very familiar with the immortal region, so I can serve as your guide if you'd like," Zhao Sanlei offered with a hopeful expression.

"You're right, we can't just let him off the hook," the red-robed woman agreed with a disgruntled expression.
With that, the two of them set off toward the greater Golden Origin Immortal Region as two streaks of light.
Only after the two had faded into the distance did Han Li emerge from the Five Light Lightning Region.
He had just altered their memories, erasing their encounter with him and replacing it with a false memory of a lightning tide that had startled the lightning snakes away, thereby saving their lives.
It would've been more convenient to just kill them, but that wasn't Han Li's style, so he would rather make the effort to avoid senseless slaughter.
