Manager Wu, being an experienced and shrewd man, saw through things without saying much. He was curious to ask what "deep facial care" meant, but knowing the young master often spoke in riddles and sensing the awkwardness of the moment, he decided to let it go and nodded quietly in agreement.
Thinking about how Fang Feixue would soon be living under the same roof with him, Gu Feng felt a tinge of excitement. He quickly dismissed the improper thoughts in his mind and took a large gulp of tea handed to him by a maid.

A commotion suddenly erupted outside the door. Manager Wu immediately stepped out, displeased, and asked, "Who is causing a ruckus outside the gate?!"

Gu Feng remembered this was the insightful artifact refiner from the Artifact Crafting Department whom he had rewarded before. He promptly instructed, "Let him in."
Li Zongwen, still dressed like a scholar, ran into the courtyard of Qiong Feng Pavilion with a face full of joy, nearly tripping several times.
Gu Feng's door was wide open, facing the courtyard. As Li Zongwen approached the entrance, he dared not enter further and knelt down, beaming with pride, "Greetings to the Sequence, congratulations and best wishes!"
Looking at him suspiciously, Gu Feng thought, I haven't even become Dao companions with Fang Feixue yet, what's this guy congratulating me for?
"What are you congratulating for, speak quickly," Manager Wu asked from the side.
Li Zongwen raised his head, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and replied, "The Immortal Spirit Communication artifact has been refined!"
Upon hearing this, Gu Feng sprang to his feet. He had been waiting for this day!
"Quick! Let me see it!"
Li Zongwen scrambled to Gu Feng's side, hurriedly pulling out two black boxes from his storage pouch.

Picking one up for a closer look, the black body had a matte texture, with no extra buttons. The front had a large rectangular mirror-like surface, smooth enough to reflect his image.
Weighing it in his hand, Gu Feng felt the device had a similar heft to the early 90s mobile phones from his previous life. He didn't expect it to fully replicate the appearance of a smartphone from his past life, as cultivators in this world had no basic concept of digital aesthetics.

Picking up the Immortal Spirit Communication, Li Zongwen flipped it over in front of Gu Feng. Sure enough, at the bottom of the back, there was a small spiral formation, with a visible formation pattern running through the back, extending to the top of the Immortal Spirit Communication, where a complex divine sense formation was clearly visible.

However, he knew his lowly status and focused on doing his job, knowing that the schemes among these big shots were none of his business.
So he didn't ask further questions.

Gu Feng gave him high praise and instructed Manager Wu to reward Li Zongwen with a bag of Spirit Stones.
Seeing the Spirit Stones, Li Zongwen completely forgot his earlier doubts.
Who cares! Whoever gives me Spirit Stones is the boss, and it's none of my business if someone gets unlucky!
