Chapter 50 Winter Festival Evening Party_3
The two could indeed be called archenemies and old rivals, having encountered each other several times at the winter festival evening parties.
After briefly catching up, the two stood together, looking at the audience as the venue was about to empty, feeling somewhat mutually sympathetic.
"This is probably our last competition before graduation," Philia said with a touch of nostalgia.
"Heh, you aren't going to miss it, are you?" Lulian, with her purple hair, chuckled lightly.
"I'm going to further my studies at Dexiumi University in the Dark Cloud Star Domain, what about you?" Lulian continued.
"Me? I actually haven't decided yet. The teachers suggested I go to the Flying Feather Star Domain in Federal Center, but I'm more drawn to the remote Wind Dew Grass Star Domain."
"The Wind Dew Grass Star Domain, isn't that a designated grazing star domain? No wonder your academy's teachers are against it. With a genius and outstanding student like you going there, it's likely to be a waste." Lulian was noncommittal.
"Let it be a waste then. I'm not the type to chase after rankings and status," Philia seemed to be gradually making up her mind.
In the distance, a girl with a blue glowing ring-shaped goggle around her eyes floated up. She raised her hand, and blue blocks condensed in the sky. Then, beams of light swept across, and although they didn't hit anyone, they caused a few people below from the opposite side to dodge in a flustered manner.
"Er Fen Yin, you're going too far." A woman with light golden hair and a voluptuous figure frowned as she spoke. She raised her scepter, and kaleidoscope-like changing glass surfaces rose, protecting her companions at her side.
The students from both sides were from Crystal Lattice Academy and Swarm's Reign Academy, and this minor conflict quickly drew the attention of many. Tilan could even vaguely see a few figures skim through the sky—those Sequence 6 individuals couldn't possibly be students and were likely the elite personnel maintaining order at the venue.
Soon, a light screen rose, separating the students of the two academies, and the potential conflict gradually subsided.
Conversations, catching up, teasing, ridicule—all sorts of sounds resonated throughout the venue, a rare annual gathering where the academies' geniuses covertly compared their strengths, stirring various emotions within their hearts.
"Such beautiful days of youth," two elderly people on the stage of the venue mused as they watched the students below, uttering slightly clichéd sentiments.
"Haha, indeed, maybe we had many thoughts back then, but at our age now, all that's left is nostalgia."
In the sky, gray flight vehicles slowly descended, and finally, the area began to quiet down, not to be revitalized until the next evening.
