Chapter 322 Come On, Eva, You Can Do Better Than That.

"You want to participate in this little competition, too?" Lucifer looked at Jack with amusement before shrugging. "Well, I don't mind, but let's make this a bit more interesting. How about everyone joins this race? And the first three that get to the buoy and back have a chance of being winners. What do you all say? Are you in or out?"

"Count me in, too. It's not like we have anything to lose here, so I'm fine with joining in," Nathan added as he flexed his muscles, ready for action.

Eva, Zoe, and Madison looked at each other for a moment, and then the blonde woman said with a cheerful tone, "Hehe... I'm game! This sounds like fun! What about you girls?"

"Yeah, why not? It's always good to get some exercise done," Zoe said while nodding in approval. She looked at Eva, who also nodded.

Meanwhile, James turned towards Ethan and asked his friend. "Are you participating?"

"Me?" Ethan shook his head and laughed, "No, thanks, man. I am not a good swimmer. But I will be watching you guys from the beach so that I can see if anyone cheats."

"Haha, that's a good idea. We need an impartial judge here," Madison chuckled and then gave Ethan her mini camera. "Here, you can record everything with this, Ethan. And pay extra attention to Lucifer; I want a lot of footage of him!"@@@@

Ethan was surprised by the sudden request, but he just nodded and accepted the camera. He didn't think of it before, but it seemed like she was very interested in Lucifer, and maybe she even liked him. And that thought made the young man a little sad.

But even though his mood dropped, Ethan still smiled and said in a friendly tone, "Sure, no problem. I will make sure to film everything. You guys have nothing to worry about; just focus on winning the race!"

"Okay! Now that's decided, let's get started!" Layla said with excitement before removing her dress and throwing it on the sand, revealing her stunning figure to everyone.

When they heard him, the others got ready and tensed up their bodies.

"Get set..."

At those words, they all braced themselves, preparing to dash forward into the water as soon as he gave the signal to start the race. The tension in the air grew thick, and it felt as though the world around them held its breath for a second.

"...go!"

As soon as Ethan finished saying that word, the group took off towards the ocean, each of them running at top speed to get ahead of their rivals.

They rushed forward, their feet kicking up water everywhere, and their bodies cutting through the waves as they dove into the sea and swam with everything they had.

Lucifer watched them from the back of the pack with an amused expression on his face. He knew that he didn't need to push himself too hard to win. Still, seeing everyone else give their best to win the race made things interesting. So he swam behind them calmly while keeping his eyes on the girls, admiring the sight of their bodies moving through the water with such grace and elegance.

He was particularly impressed by Madison's swimming, who seemed to be faster than he had expected. But even so, she wasn't the one in the lead.

Layla was leading the group, followed closely behind by Jack and James, who were trying their hardest to keep up. Behind them were Nathan, Zoe, and Madison, and lastly, there was Eva, who was already starting to lag behind.

Seeing that, Lucifer smirked and increased his pace, catching up to the group in no time. He didn't go ahead, though, and instead, he moved next to Eva, who was swimming desperately, but not fast enough.

"Come on, Eva, you can do better than that. Show them your strength and don't let them leave you behind!" He shouted as he moved beside the young woman.
