Chapter 321 Are You Telling Me You Can't Do Something Like That, Mr. Hotshot?
The two young women rolled their eyes and giggled, but neither said anything more about the subject.
And so, the group made its way towards the hotel, where they planned on dropping their luggage off at first and then going straight to the beach afterwards.
As they were walking, the others noticed that the girls kept sticking close to Lucifer and paid little attention to anyone else in the group. It didn't matter to Ethan, as he only cared about Madison, and since she had already rejected him, there wasn't any reason to try again.
Jack was also feeling annoyed because Layla kept brushing him off. But his eyes kept glancing over at the young woman's body, and he licked his lips, imagining all the naughty things that he wanted to do to her.
Nathan, on the other hand, was confused. He didn't understand why Zoe was avoiding him, especially considering that they were dating and supposed to act like lovers. But he decided not to dwell on it too much, and he would ask her about it later when they had some privacy.
Meanwhile, James knew that Eva was still mad at him for rejecting her last night, and now he was being ignored by his own girlfriend. It made him sad and a bit angry too, but there was nothing much he could do about it right now.
With that thought in mind, he let out a frustrated sigh and followed the others quietly.
Soon enough, the group reached the hotel, and they were escorted inside, where they were greeted by a friendly receptionist who asked if they had a reservation.@@@@
After checking in at the reception desk and receiving their room keys, the group took the elevator up to the floor where their suites were located. And once there, they split up and went their separate ways, heading to their respective rooms to unpack their bags.
The hotel had a reserved area for its clients on the beach. It was furnished with comfortable lounging chairs and big umbrellas for those who wanted to stay out of the sun, along with beach volleyball nets and plenty of other fun activities.
And of course, there were also waitresses who attended to guests' orders, providing them with refreshments and anything else they might need.
However, the group didn't stop there and instead made its way down to where the water met the shore.
The moment Lucifer saw the beautiful expanse of clear blue sea stretched out before his eyes, a smile appeared on his handsome face. "Ahh... This is perfect. We have come at just the right season to enjoy this paradise," he said while stretching out his arms wide and breathing deeply. "Just look at that gorgeous sight!"
"You're right. Although we have been on the sea for a whole day, seeing this view in front of me makes it feel different somehow," Layla added with a content smile. Then a mischievous expression showed up on her beautiful face as she turned to face Lucifer. "Hey, Lucifer! Up for a challenge?"
Lucifer looked back at her and smirked, knowing exactly what she had in mind. "Oh, you bet. What do you have in mind?"
"I'll race you to the buoy over there and back to the beach," she pointed at a buoy far out at sea. "The loser must obey one of the winner's requests. Sounds good?"
"Hehe, you're on, my dear sister," Lucifer grinned and stretched his arms once more. "But don't be disappointed when you lose, alright?"
"Wait... I am also joining the competition!" Jack intervened, stepping between Lucifer and Layla, looking determined to participate. "This time I am not letting you win, Lucifer!"
