What Do You Mean I'm The Captain Of A Yandere Mercenary Company?

Chapter 312 It's Black Market Trading Time

Chapter 312 It's Black Market Trading Time

I watched as the workers filed into the ship to finish the delivery of all the things Lea and Amber had bought.

They had made sure to contact the stores to arrange for the delivery to be made as soon as we arrived so that we spend as little time as possible on the station.

Right now, only Lea, Ries and I were on the ship to oversee the delivery while Amber and Mara had gone to her clinic to deal with the thugs wrecking her place.

They would need about half a day to deal with that before we would be leaving this station for a long, long time.

Of course, Mara had already moved her things elsewhere and she pulled in a favour to have some group deliver them discreetly to our ship so her pursuers should not realise that we had taken her in.

They assured me there wouldn't be any problems, but I told them to contact me if anything unexpected happens or if they ran into any troubles anyway.

Thus... Even though I was trying my best not to do that... I kept checking my Codex every minute to make sure that I didn't miss any messages if they had sent any.

Anyway, it's not like I had much to do right now...

Lea was the one keeping an eye on the delivery personnel to make sure they were doing their job properly while Ries was the one overseeing her drones taking over the moving of the stuff inside the ship.

So I was really there just to play the part of the ship's Captain but I wasn't really doing anything.

Right as I was considering if I should send them a message instead, a notification came from my Codex and I immediately tapped on it.

It was a message from Amber and I was already turning towards the security room to grab my gun before I read the message she sent.

'Dealt with the thugs, looting them now. Will be back in a while. I love you <3'

I stopped walking and let a smile materialise on my face before typing back a response and turning back to watch the delivery again.

It looks like they're almost done anyway though it really made me realise that those two bought a lot of stuff.

For Lea's stuff, there were a few machines which I assumed were some kind of water pump or purifier which I had absolutely no clue on how to operate. But most of her purchases came in the form of pipes which I assumed would be where she would be using to make her hydroponic farm.

But for Amber's case... Well... There were a number of sensible purchases like cleaning supplies, food supplies and ammunition. There were even some small furniture like bedside tables, coffee tables and some entertainment stuff which included their version of the VR Capsule.

Then there were the weird ones where I found lingerie, lotion and what looked like whips and chains...

Err... Hold on... I have a feeling the last few were actually bought by Lea, not Amber... So forget I said anything...

Eventually, everything had been delivered and all we needed now was to just sort them out.@@@@

I would be leaving that to Lea and Ries to handle because there was still something I wanted to do before we left this station.

There's a seller trying to sell twenty crates of human organs for sixty million Credits.

I believe the rate on Denibi was roughly four point five million per box... That means I can make a profit of thirty million from this trade, give or take a few hundred thousand.

And it says here this is a rush trade as well and the seller is only interested in buyers who can take it off his hands immediately.

Alright, I think we have our trade goods right here.

I initiated the trade request and connected my Codex to it. The seller should have received the buy request and they will contact me as soon as--

My Codex started to ring.

Wow, really? Was this guy literally just sitting in front of his personal terminal waiting for it to ring or something?

I moved to a corner and answered the call and a hooded man wearing what looked like a surgical mask appeared in front of me.

"I will only sell if you have the money upfront..." He said immediately.

I nodded at him, "I have it. Can you deliver it right now?"

"Sure. Where?" Find adventures on My Virtual Library Empire

"My ship. I'll send you the docking bay location."

"Oh, you'll be bringing it off the station? That's perfect. When will you be leaving? Today, I hope?"

I nodded, "By the end of today."

"Great! I... Ahem... I mean, that's good. Send me the location and I'll be there in an hour."

He then hung up before I could say anything more so I just shrugged and sent him the location of where my ship was docked before leaving the black market.

I could obviously still buy more but since this would be my first trade, I don't want to risk too much.

Besides, it's not wise for me to just use all the money I currently have on this because if we do end up getting searched, they would confiscate all of this and that would be sixty million Credits gone just like that.

I don't really need to worry about this being a scam since they would need a certain reputation to be able to sell on that trading platform so he definitely had the goods.

Although I would say that there's still a possibility that they might set a trap or something where they sell you the goods before they rob you and take both your money and the goods they sold you to do it all over again on the next victim.

I already know the risks so I believe I should be able to prepare for them adequately enough.

Alright, time to meet the seller.
